im all done and set with communication theory, and i cant wait to get done and over with nutrition on friday!
very excited about the shopping trip with maggie tmr!
even though i've already been shopping non-stop.
dad's back from taiwan and this time, he didnt get me anything!
but i doubt i'd like what my dad gets me unless it like prada or chanel from the airport.
HAHAHA.
its almost midway through december.
loads of memories and flashbacks are popping up in my mind.
esp those that happened during the festive season.
there were both good and bad memories:
good ones are those that include the good house parties during christmas spent with loved ones, as well as the times when i hung out with eunice in town just to capture the deco, lovely dinners, good food, good company.
as much as i love christmas and new year, i think i sort of dread them too.
whenever i hear people counting down together, i cant help but to cringe and try to hold back my tears ( for one, i dont know if its cry of joy/ cry of fear).
sometimes i miss the good ol' days when i was still a kid: mom and dad would bring the whole family to marina mandarin hotel, and we'll meet up with aunt anthea's family and countdown with every other family there. i like that alot because we always head home with fruitful rewards. tons of party packs and balloons that are released from the nets right on the top floor of the hotel's main lobby when its 0000 on 25th dec and 1st jan. i wonder if they still hold the same ceremony annually now.
i dont know why but i think its human nature for us to start reminiscing the past when the year's coming to a closure.
i miss happytimes shopping in bangkok, i miss madtimes shopping in hongkong with love, i miss goodtimes in melb with my cousin (even though they made me ski in the intermediate zone which can cause my death, but i enjoyed it still, tremendously).
i miss all my friends who i've left out in recent months.
gillian, raymond, cherie, lirong, linda, timothy, jd, my excolleagues, mosey, chou, shannon, helong, john, pris, lynn t., seb, cyrus, chengwei, isabel, even eunice, and everyone everyone everyone!
